Lately I've been having the same problems with the same group of people. We all talk about each other, but then some people call it upon themselves to report what is said. At first I was irritated because people can't seem to hold water but then I thought we are all at fault. I mean sure, we kinda like each other, but if we are together more than 5 minutes somebody is going to talk about somebody. It's a given and I've come to accept it when it comes to this group of friends.
But then I thought, why are they my friends. This kind of behavior is not really characteristic of true friendship. I realized they were my friends because of convenience. Yeah, we got on each other's nerves but it was simply too late in the college game to find new ones. With this, I concluded that yeah I got some fake friends but not to trust them with my emotions and I'd be okay.
Smh.
